Russian Visa Support

If you intend to apply yourself directly to a Russian consulate for your visa, then you will need to provide a visa support document (also known as a letter of invitation) from a licensed organisation in Russia.

This organisation will be your official sponsor both for visa processing at the consulate and for the Russian authorities while you are in Russia.

When you obtain visa support from Real Russia you are sure that it is genuine and that our company is available for “back up” if needed when you are in Russia itself.

What types of visa support are available?

There are two basic types of visa support documents that we can provide depending upon the purpose and duration of your visa. These are:

Tourist visa support is provided to people travelling to Russia for tourism or leisure purposes and allows the consulate to process a visa that is valid for a maximum of 30 days and allows for a single or double entry.

Russian business visa support is generally used by people who travel to Russia on official or private business, allows them to travel when and stay where they wish (within the validity of the visa) and allows the consulate to prepare visas for single, double or multiple visits that are valid from between one and twelve months.

To learn more and order your visa support documents please see the following links:

Please note that if you are applying for our full tourist visa or business visa service, then you do not need to order separate visa support documents as these are included in the cost.

Will the visa support allow me to enter Russia?

No, if you try to enter Russia with the visa support documents alone you will either be refused entry, or if you have arrived by air, then you will be deported.

You will need to enclose the visa support documents with your application to the Russian consulate of your choice providing your passport and all the other documents required to allow them to process a visa.

Can you tell me more?
