Travelling with a group, and our itinerary has changed from Riga -Tallinn - St Petersburg to Riga - Kharkov - St P (yes, I know that makes no sense culturally!).
We were rerouted via Moscow and have to change from Sheremetyevo Terminal D to Terminal F.
All of us have single-entry visas, which start next Friday (when we arrive in St Petersburg, also via Moscow).
As far as I can tell from the aeroflot website, we shouldn't need transit visas (and possibly also a transit visa would invalidate our tourist visas, as it seems you can't have two valid Russian visas at once); but advice on google is contradictory, and I couldn't find any previous posts that addressed this issue. The trip logistics were handled by people unfamiliar with Russian bureaucracy, and they now have no idea whether we are in hot water or not. The travel is tomorrow!!

We do NOT have valid visas for Russia! Our Russian visas are only valid as of July 20th, and we are arriving in Moscow airport on 14th, departing also on 14th to Kharkov. We do not have to change airports, only terminals (Terminal D to Terminal F) so I would imagine we are not technically entering Russia at that point, but it's not clear - either on the Aeroflot or the Sheremetyevo websites.

Who was responsible for your re-routing?
If it was Aeroflot then it is their responsibility to ensure that you can continue your journey.
On a different note, under normal circumstances a visa is not normally required for international transfers but because I have never transferred between international flights in Russia I cannot say for sure that there is an "International transfer" option in Sheremetyevo.
Good luck in getting this issue sorted and it would be good if you could update the forum with your experiences.

You can transit through Sheremetyevo without a visa and travelling between those two terminals will not be a problem without one. The airport cannot guarantee this though because they are not responsible for your travel arrangements, if you've been booked on one ticket and your bags are transferred to your connecting fight automatically by the airline you will not require a visa.
Sounds like your travelling via Moscow with Aeroflot so it shouldn't be a problem, but you need to confirm with your agent that this trip is on the one ticket, I'd be surprised though if it wasn't.
