Another quick update:

5th October has passed and we are now happily married =) The ceremony was certainly interesting and I hopefully will find some time to go through it in more detail so you can all have a laugh. Now back in England and hopefully the goodbye me and the missus had at the Airport on Sunday night was the last we will ever have.

I'll have a more thorough look on this forum (search and all), but if somebody could quickly confirm what we need to have done to the marriage certificate in preparation for a UK Spouse Visa application (amongst other things, if there is any), that would be great.

Marriage cert will need to be translated and notarised for the spouse visa application....

Further to the advise given by Mel.

 

Please remember that all documents in Russian that are submitted to the British Embassy need to translated by a certified translator.
