Location: Kent | My wife tells me they are actively encouraged throughout the program in Russia to vote for their own. She felt quite embarresed listening to Terry Wogan explaining not to forget "You can't vote for your own". We have never watched it since :-) |

Location: South Oxfordshire | Roy, i'm sure come Saturday evening, you'll be snuggled up to Tania on the settee cheering on the Babushkas. (If you know whats good for you!! ) Nadya and I have a special interest in this years Eurovision, Nadya because the Baba's are from Udmurtia, the same region as her. And me coz i've got £2.50 e/w on them Hunnies at 10/1!!
So folks, whether you're a fan of Eurovision or not, pick up your phones and vote for the Udmurt Babushkas. You know it makes sense! |

Location: Volgograd & Moscow | Being from the Leicester area, my girls and some of their friends at school wrote to Engelbert Humperdinck (even though they cant say his name properly) and we got a signed photo back - they are now glued to the TV waiting and expecting him to be crowed the best in Europe ... life is so cruel ...
As to the grannys, well at least they are having a good time |

Dear Paul.. mate...

Location: South Oxfordshire | CONGRATULATIONS TO THE BURANOVSKIYE BABUSHKI'S!!!! Their fantastic 2nd place on Saturday will do the power of good to their quest for funds to build a new village church. And a healthy £3.75 profit for me!! That will just about pay for a pint and a packet of crisps in this neck of the woods! Roy, thanks for the youtube link mate, is it just me or is there something about a gal in her galloshes and woollen tights!?! |
