Ive never seen the Russian state ballet, but ive seen the orchestra in question many times they are amazing. I recommend anybody to go and see them.

Although the local ballet is amazing, when ive seen them it has been modern productions Eg. zolushka but with modern costumes. Still amazing though, im lucky in the fact that i live two minutes walk from the opera house and i can go anytime i want when i am not working. My mother is soo jealous

Yippee they are playing in Edinburgh. More details here http://www.allgigs.co.uk/search/tourdates/60473/The_Russian_State_B... as the other site seemed to list English dates only.
